17th Annual Festival of Books

The Spencertown Academy Arts Center again welcomes the community to its historic building for the 2022 Festival of Books. The beloved extravaganza of all things literary takes place Friday, September 2, through Monday, September 5.

You can browse gently used books by the thousands, consider collectible volumes in the Special Book Room (look for extra-special jazz and Ellsworth Kelly art books), and choose something for young readers in the Kids’ Corner. Reading rules!

The Festival opens Friday with a Members Only Preview Sale (free for members, $10 for guests of members). All other weekend programming, including children’s activities and author talks in the tent, is free to all. More details soon.

Please note: MASKS are required inside the building throughout the Festival.
